Into Pieces was on of my most highly anticipated releases because I fell in love with the characters and their story. I just couldn’t wait to read it, when I had the opportunity to beta read Into Pieces I immediately jumped at the chance. I loved the direction Nicole took with this book, I loved how the characters grew from the first book to this book. I was so invested in the story I forgot about the outside world, I was lost in the world of Jasmine and Angel and I loved every minute of it.Our Story
What I love most about the Shattered Hearts series is that the story has multiple points of view so you are able to get into almost every character’s thoughts. I know some people don’t enjoy this but Shattered was the first book I read that had multiple points of view and I loved it.
Each characters voice is distinct so you aren’t confused about whose view you are reading about. I loved being able to know what the characters thoughts were, how they were feeling. I felt a connection to each character’s point of view even Marcus * shivers * .
The story doesn’t necessarily pick off where the first book ended it but it does start off with a bang * fans self * , then it does mention events that took place during the first book which I loved because Nicole leaves you wanting to know what happens to these characters. It is action packed, heart breaking at times frustrating but such a good story.
The second book in a series is a tough one some can succeed and be just absolutely amazing or it can fall flat. Into Pieces definitely falls into the category of I need more, give me more and give me more now.
Our Characters
Jasmine has grown so much from the first book to the second. In the first book she was just a shell of a person, she never really lived or took chances, she was always scared. In the second book we see her grow, she’s more confident, she’s finally living and she’s facing her fears head on. She is incredibly strong and you can see her grow from the first book to second. She may just be a character but I am seriously proud of her.
Angel made me fall for him more the second time around. He grew so much, he was finally able to learn how to deal with his demons. It was amazing watch him from the first book to the second. When he and Jasmine together they make the most beautiful team and their strength together is amazing.
Overall
I loved Into Pieces. I was so invested in the characters and in the story. It was the perfect sequel to follow up Shattered. I know it took Nicole a long time to write this second book and I am glad she did her characters went on a crazy journey and they grew so much. I’m glad she took her time to develop the story and the characters nothing felt rushed or even out of place. Only downside is I want more of Angel, Jasmine, Kris, Chase especially Damian.

Wow!!!! Nicole Banks you did it again! This book keeps you hooked from the moment you open it! I have already read the 1st book, was waiting patiently for this one to come out and I literally hold myself back and read one chapter a day just so I can save this read and not finish it so soon but it's so hard to put it down! I recommend anyone who is looking for a good read this summer this is a most def a book to get right away, they way the characters are so detailed on everything and it really captures ur attention from bringing to end the love story between kris and chase are amazing I can't wait to see what the final results are of those two and the ending are u serious?!?!?!!! When is the 3rd book coming I'm am anxious now and can't wait to find out what happens next
Amazing book! It makes you fall in love with love; rooting for Jasmine and Angel to conquer their fears and love each other through it all. I fell in love with the characters in Shattered Hearts so Into Pieces was a much anticipated read! Yet again I feel author Nicole Banks has perfectly kept the readers attention, with so many romance novels out there, this one combines the bliss of love with the reality of heartache and pain. A love story with even the coldest of hearts can warm. Forgive my delay in posting! I can't wait to read your next book! Blessings
So this one is just a tad bit less emotional then the first but filled in with sooooo much more drama and suspense. In all reality I really wanted to kick the authors ass for all the highs and the lows. Just when u think things are getting better for our love birds , the forces of evil are always lurking around the corner. I was completely addicted. I couldn't put this down, and when I did I was thinking about it like "damn, wonder what's going to happen next". Trust me if u want a good read that actually takes u into the lives of each character and draws u in then look no farther. I can't wait for the next installment. 👍👍👍👍👍
This book was an emotionally charged read. Jason and Angel went through hell and back, more than once, and watching them wade through the chaos together was draining as well as fulfilling. I enjoyed every chaotic moment as well as the sweet moments in between. I look forward to reading what comes for the next couple, Kris and Chase.
Into Pieces is the second book of the series and Nicole delves even deeper into the minds of all the different characters. Unlike Book One, Into Pieces delves deeper and shows the complex sides of each character, the effects of their loyalties and the battles of their hearts.
Following Angel and Jasmine, we finally see them delve into their own personal hell to try and combat the negative effects their secrets have on their relationship. Nicole Banks has heightened the complexity of the characters in Book Two but has also successfully given them all the tools to work through their obstacles. This successfully heightens the authenticity of the story line.
Into pieces also explores the minds of other characters as they witness Angel & Jasmine’s struggle whilst dealing with their own personal battles. Nicole Banks writes her secondary characters with as much love and pride as her main characters. They all compliment one another and will have readers craving more of them.
With all truths coming out and battle after battle being dealt with, readers will be curious and excited to find out if Angel and Jasmine successfully get their happily ever after.
